The stories covered in this weeks issue are:

1. Independence Day was celebrated on Friday, September the 23rd, at 6.30pm at Independence Square (It-Tokk), Victoria. The National and Regional Celebrations Committee within The Gozo Ministry hosted a concert by the Symphonic Band of the Armed Forces of Malta, under the direction of Mro Ivan John Borg. This concert was under the patronage of Acting Prime Minister, Giovanna Debono..

2. On Sunday, September, the 25th, Club Med 2 called at Mgarr Harbour for the second time this year. The ship had 300 passengers on board, all from France. Nearly all passengers took the opportunity to tour the island for the day.

3. Kercem Ajax FC organised a motor show in the new street leading to Ninu Cremona Secondary School in Victoria. There were new models, food, entertainment and a children’s area.
