The Gozo – FMVA Vintage Motors Festival 2011, is taking place this coming Sunday, the 6th of November in Ghajnsielm, Nadur, Sannat and Xaghra. In case of inclement weather the event will be held a week later on Sunday the 13th of November.

The participants will all meet in Ghajnsielem at 9.00am, where the static show participants will move on to locations in either Nadur, Sannat or Xaghra. The cars in the static show, which will all be over 25-years of age, will move on to each of the three villages after a two hour display period.

For the rally, the cars will all be pre-1977 models and the first competitor is due to leave the start in Ghajnsielem square at 10.01; all other competitors will follow at 1 minute intervals.

It is expected that the first competitor should arrive at the half-way break, which is in Xlendi, at about noon for a 1 hour break, when the vehicles will be on show. The Restart for Part-Two of the event will take place at 13.01 from the same place.

The rally Finish, in Nadur, should see the first competitor arriving at about 14.00 where they will then also take part in the static show. The results are to be announced about an hour later and an official presentation ceremony will take place.
