Vodafone said that a number of localities in Gozo experienced service degradation and interruptions during the day attributable to an equipment failure at one of the Company’s sites. “This was beyond Vodafone’s control and it affected a number of customers and businesses in Gozo.”

“Vodafone’s engineering staff immediately identified the root cause of the problem and took action to rectify it. Following replacement of the faulty equipment, Vodafone fully restored its services by 13:30hrs. The areas affected were Victoria Gozo and its vicinities,” the company said.

Vodafone Malta said it apologises for the inconvenience and disruption this has caused to its customers.
