The Xewkija Primary School, has recently held a commemorative event to celebrate the 150th anniversary of the Xewkija Primary School.

The Minister for Gozo, Giovanna Debono delivered a speech for the occasion.

Following a commemorative Mass celebrated by H.E. Mgr. Mario Grech, Bishop of Gozo, the programme included reading of poems and prose with the participation of the school choir and other students, a tree planting ceremony and the unveiling of a commemorative plaque.
