Harlequin Entertainment in collaboration with the Xaghra Local Council, recently presented a show on the important subject of water conservation to children from the ‘Patri Mattew Sultana’ primary school in Xaghra.

The council said that “water conservation in Malta is still something which everyone is working on to improve and with the next generation having the chance to learn about this very important and precious subject, it means that hopefully the water that is present on the Maltese Islands will be preserved for many more generations to come. During the play, which was highly interactive, the children did not only enjoy joining in with Spongebob Squarepants and other characters, but they were also able to learn about the subject at hand.”

Present for the show were School Headmaster, Mr. Joseph Xerri, School Assistant Head Mr. Mario Debono and other teachers.

Xaghra Local Council said that it was a pleasure to support in all ways possible similar initiatives to help children expand their general knowledge on various topics which are relevant in everyday life.
