Heritage Malta are organising a guided Heritage Trail and tour entitled ‘In Defence of the Cross’ – Gozo Defence Strategies by the Knights of St John.

This guided tour will take you to the Mgarr ix-Xini Coastal Tower (1661), the Dwejra Tower (1652) and then on to the Citadel to visit the gun powder magazine, silos and the Old Prisons.

It is a Day Tour, tickets cost: €12 for adults and €8 for children (12 years & under.) Tickets for HM members €10. Tickets are available from HM’s Head Office in Bighi, Kalkara. Price includes the services of a guide, transport in Gozo, and entrance to all sites. There will be a break in Victoria to take lunch.
