In November, industrial production decreased by 3.7 per cent from 101.6 points in November of 2010. Intermediate goods and consumer goods fell by 3.1 and 11.4 per cent respectively. The increase in energy and capital goods by 2.6 and 14.6 per cent respectively partly offset this decline.

At the NACE division level, the manufacture of computer, electronic and optical products decreased by 1.5 per cent. Other decreases were registered in the manufacture of wearing apparel, printing and reproduction of recorded media, manufacture of chemicals and chemical products, manufacture of basic pharmaceutical products and pharmaceutical preparations and manufacture of rubber and plastic products. On the other hand, the manufacture of food products, manufacture of, manufacture of motor vehicles, trailers and semi-trailers, other manufacturing and electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply went up when compared to the corresponding month in 2010.
