A debate that was due to start on Thursday morning on the motion of no-confidence that was tabled by the Labour Party last week, will now not be heard until Monday.
Yesterday, the Labour Party withdrew a procedural motion to debate a no-confidence motion on Thursday, accepting instead to have the no-confidence motion debated in Parliament on Monday.
The Leader of the House, Dr Carm Mifsud Bonnici, said last night that there will be no time limit on the debate which will start at 6.30pm on Monday.
The Opposition Party accused government of “delaying tactics in bid to hold on to power.”
