The Electoral Commission has said that it will receive applications for Assistant Electoral Commissioners for the forthcoming Local Councils Elections.

Applications will be accepted only from voters registered (in the October, 2011, Register) in the localities of Birgu, L-Isla, Hal Qormi, HaS-sebbua, Is-Siaaiewi, H’Attard, Hal Balzan, BirSebbuaa, Had-Dingli, Floriana, Il- Azira, Ghajnsielem, Hal Gharghur, Il-Hamrun, L-Iklin, Ta’ Kerëem, Hal-Kirkop, Hal-Luqa, Il- Marsa, Marsaxlokk, Il-Mosta, Il-Munxar, In-Nadur, Paola, Il-Qala, Hal Safi, San Ailjan, San Lawrenz, San Pawl il-Bahar, Santa Luëija, Is-Swieqi, Ix-Xaghra, IS-sebbua and IS-Zurrieq.

Applications will be received by the Electoral Commission at its Office, Evans Building, St. Elmo Square, Valletta, and for persons residing in Gozo at the Identity Cards Office, 28A St. Francis Square, Rabat, Gozo, from Monday 30th January up to Wednesday 1st February, 2012, from 3.00 p.m. to 7.00 p.m.

Application forms, the only ones admissible, may be obtained from the same Offices on the above mentioned dates and times.
