Blood donation session at the Xewkija Clinic on SundayThe National Blood Transfusion Service would like to thank the 28 people who called to donate blood last Tuesday at the Xewkija Clinic in Gozo.

The Service continues to encourage more Gozitans to please come forward and commit themselves to donate much needed blood in support of the many patients who are currently hospitalised in Gozo and Malta.

The next session will be on Sunday, the 25th of September, from 8am to 1pm at the Xewkija Clinic. This will be followed by another session on Tuesday, the 4th of October, from 1pm to 5pm.

“As always, your cooperation and generosity are greatly appreciated and please encourage others to donate if possible,” the Service said.

The centre is located at the Xewkija Clinic, in Triq tall- Hamrija, between the Primary School and the Bocci Club.

Important notes from the National Blood Transfusion Service

The Service reminds everyone that it is very important to always take your Identity Card, or Driving License or Maltese Passport and to drink plenty of water beforehand.

As usual, please wear a mask when attending the clinic.
