Dr Harry Vassallo, Chairperson of Alternattiva Demokratika, has said that he wishes to show his solidarity, and that coming from AD, with officials and members of Birdlife Malta following yesterdays attack on their property in Buskett.

Dr Vassallo said that some people think they have the right to intimidate those working in favour of our natural heritage. AD appeals to the authorities to treat this case very seriously.

“These are terrorist acts aimed to silence, and hinder the work of a group that in the past has, and is still continuing to do a lot of good work,” Dr Vassallo concluded.
