The Electoral Commission has said that, owing to work in connection with the Local Councils Elections, the Identity Cards Offices in Valletta and Rabat, Gozo, will be closed from Monday 5th to Saturday 10th March, 2012. However, persons who have lost their I.D. Card will be served from Monday 5th till Thursday 8th March, 2012.

The offices will re-open on Monday 12th March, 2012, with the following extended hours:

Monday 12th , Tuesday 13th and Wednesday 14th March, from 7.30 a.m. to 2.00 p.m. and from 3.00 p.m. to 6.00 p.m; Thursday 15th , Friday 16th and Saturday 17th March, from 7.30 a.m. to 2.00 p.m.
