Voters going abroad on Saturday will be able to skip queueThe Electoral Commission reminds the public that the voting hours for the Local Councils’ Elections are between 7.00 a.m. and 7.00 p.m. without interruption.

The Electoral Commission also notifies that every person who impedes or prevents the free exercise of a voter’s right to vote in these elections shall be guilty of an offence.

Facilities are also to be given to voters who will be going abroad on that same day to skip the queue. These persons have to present their flight or sea tickets to the police officer in charge at the Polling Centre.
