A public lecture on ‘Promoting Gozitan Identity in the Local, Regional and National context,’ by the President of the Gozo NGOs Association, Raymond C. Xerri, is taking place on Wednesday, the 28th of March at the University of Malta, LC116, Tal-Qroqq, starting at12 noon.

Dr Xerri said that “The lecture will look at how Gozo is to Malta what Scotland is to the UK, Gozitans are to Maltese what Catalonians are to the rest of the Spanish Kingdom.

How is Gozo to project itself to the rest of the world? Do Gozitans have a different identity?”
