Liquigas announce prices rise on LPG from this Monday

Liquigas Malta Limited announced the LPG prices effective as from Monday 1st October 2012, being the beginning of the month.
Prices on the international market of LPG have increased as a result of increased demand within the Mediterranean region related to the start of winter buying.
The revised prices are as shown in the table below:

Liquigas said that “the cost of gas in March/April 2012 was over USD 1,000 per metric ton (mT) corresponding to a consumer price of €19.70 per 12 kg cylinder.
“The subsequent decrease on the international market in June resulted in a reduction in the consumer price of €1.20 (€18.50 per 12kg cylinder). This price was maintained for three months until September.
“Market prices started to increase again in July 2012, hitting USD 1,000 in September 2012, resulting in the current increase of €1.10 per 12kg cylinder.
