A Polish woman died at Dwerja yesterday afternoon after getting into difficulty whilst diving.
Her diving instructor helped her to reach the surface, and she was taken to shore with the help of a nearby boat.
The woman was given CPR until the ambulance arrived on location but she was unfortunately certified to have died.
Duty Magistrate Dr Paul Coppini is heading an inquiry and police investigations are continuing.
