On Wednesday morning, Mrs Tina Rapinet, a member of the Malta Charities Association of London, presented a donation of €5000 to Rev Fr. Emmanuel Curmi founder of the Arka Respite Centre in Ghajnsielem.

These funds for local charities were raised during the Gala Dinner held last November 2011 at ‘The Landmark’ in London.

The Gozitan sculptor Joe Xuereb once again contributed two of his works which were auctioned during the event in London raising around €2500.
