The Government won a vote of confidence in the House of Representatives earlier this evening, 35 votes in favour, 34 against, with all the Government MPs voting in favour.
The Prime Minister had requested this evening’s vote following last week’s forced resignation of Carm.Mifsud Bonnici, the Minister of Home Affairs, after Parliament passed a motion of no confidence presented by the Labour Party.
