Fiori D’Argenta, a festival of culture, history, drama and traditions, is taking place this weekend, Friday the 15th, Saturday the 16th and Sunday the 17th of June 2012, in Xewkija.

The spectacular entertainment will be taking place in St John the Baptist Square as well as the surrounding areas.

On Friday evening there is a performance by Kurt Galleja, with D.R.E.A.M.S. providing the entertainment on Saturday evening.

During the days there will be a farmer’s market, crafts, historic sites, a kid’s fair, falcon show and horse defile, to name just a few!

The largest traditional ‘Torta tal-Bajtar ta’ San Gwann’ will also be baked, with a chance for everyone to have a taste and enjoy the finished result on Saturday.

The festival has been organised by the Xewkija Local Council and it invites everybody to go along and enjoy the weekend of fun, festivities and events, suitable for all ages.
