The Enforcement directorate within MEPA said that it has today removed over 10 illegal billboards from a number of arterial roads that included the Zebbug/Rabat road, the Imriehel Bypass, the area close to Mount Carmel Hospital and Garibaldi Street in Marsa.

The Authority said in its statement that it will be recovering the cost of this direct action by billing the respective companies who rented and advertised their message on these billboards that do not hold a valid MEPA permit.
