Local bus operator Arriva and the Malta Tourism Authority have reached an agreement to offer a special bus service to the thousands who every year attend the top-summer concert in the Maltese Islands: Isle of MTV. Arriva’s special service will be provided at the price of €2.50 for the round trip.

The Isle of MTV Malta Special is a large scale concert organised by MTV in collaboration with the Malta Tourism Authority, and attendance is free of charge. This year’s concert will take place on Tuesday June the 26th, at the Granaries in Floriana and once again is expected to attract thousands of music lovers of all ages. The top class line up this year features, Nelly Furtado, Flo Rida and Will.i.am of Black Eyed Peas fame.

This year Arriva and the MTA have collaborated to provide fans a service from their locality to Floriana and back again after the concert. Special Arriva MTV Tickets can be purchased in advance from all Arriva ticket booths (Valletta, Sliema, Bugibba and Malta International Airport) as well as from Arriva ticket sellers who will be located around Malta and Gozo. Special Arriva MTV Tickets can also be purchased from: all Maltasightseeing offices, all Maltapost offices, Stop For Stationers in St Julians, ABC Stationers in Sliema, Bayview Hotel and Kennedy Hotel in Gzira, Plaza Hotel in Sliema, Hilton Hotel in St Julians, The George Hotel in Paceville, the Corinthia Marina in St Georges Bay (Paceville), Dolmen Hotel in Bugibba, San Pawl Hotel in St Pauls Bay, the Riviera Hotel in Marfa, and the Mellieha Sub Post Office.

Arriva MTV Tickets cost only €2.50 and include the trip from your locality to Floriana/Valletta on Arriva’s scheduled day servcies, as well as the trip back to your locality after the concert on one of the special routes listed below. These special Arriva MTV routes will operate between midnight and 0130am following the concert, when the last buses leave the station.
