GO has announced that the ‘impossible treble,’ Serie A, Barclays Premier League and UEFA Champions League, will be home to GO sports as of August 2012. GO sad that “for a limited time period, avid football fans will have the chance to subscribe to the ultimate sports experience at the most affordable rates. GO sports Premium is being offered at only €14.99 per month when committing to a minimum subscription period of 12 consecutive months.”

GO said that it has exclusive rights to Italian Serie A and UEFA Champions League until May 2015 and the Barclays Premier League for a further season. “With the start of the next season, football fans can look forward to a truly exceptional football experience with matches from the Barclays Premier League, the Italian Serie A and the UEFA Champions League live and exclusive on GO sports Premium.”

The compnay said that it has upgraded its play out facility to not only introduce GO sports 1 in High Definition (HD) but to also offer eight Standard Definition (SD) channels on GO interactive. This will enable a total of eight simultaneous live feeds at any time of the day thus catering for the live requirements of the variety of top international sporting events.
