The Xaghra Local Council, in collaboration with the Body Art Dance Group, is organising a major cultural activity ‘Xaghra Rocks… Sacred or Profane?’ This event will be held on Saturday, the 11th of August 2012 from 8.30pm onwards in Victory Square, Xaghra.

There will be a professional dance show by the Body Art Dance Group, choreographed by M. Angelo Bonello, together with a large group of Xaghra children, teenagers and adults who will be participating in this evening of entertainment.

The evening’s festivities will conclude with a concert by Cash & Band, followed by other musical entertainment.

Entrance will be strictly by tickets, which can be collected free of charge from the Xaghra Local Council’s administrative offices between Monday and Friday from 8.00am till 2.00pm.

There is also an option for anyone who would like to dine at one of the restaurants located in Victory Square and tickets for fine dining can be purchased at €30 per person from the participating restaurants.

The Xaghra Local Council said it would like to invite all those who love music and culture to collect their tickets and attend for this unique event in Gozo.
