Maria was in the competition with participants from far and wide, including the USA, Russia, United Kingdom, China, and Kuwait and she was awarded an achievement diploma.

As music unites nations, the international winners including Maria, had a week together encountering various music related experiences including masterclasses, live performances, concerts and music tours of the great Viennese composers.

The Malta Arts Fund supported this iniative, appreciating the placement of the Maltese islands on the music map.
