The traditional Bonfire of Saint John the Baptist is to be held in St. John The Baptist Square, Xewkija.

The festivities, which take place on Wednesday the 29th of August, get underway at 7.30pm with a band march lead by the Prekursur Philarmonic Society, this will be followed by a traditional dinner, entertainmnet for all the family and a children’s fair.

Xewkija Local Council has orgainsed the event and it promises to be an exciting and fun filled evening, .
