The Environmental Health Directorate within the Superintendence of Public Health has said this afternoon that following repeated sampling of seawater carried out on a daily basis during the last few days the bathing sites at Xlendi Bay (Site Codes D04, D05, D06 and D07) and St. Paul’s Bay – in the vicinity of Wharf in front of Fekruna Pumping Station (Site Code C 18), are once again fit for bathing and thus the health warning is hereby being lifted.

However, the public is informed that bathing is still not recommended at St. George’s Bay, St. Julian’s until further notice.

Health warning signs indicating the exact zones involved have been fixed in the areas.
