GO recently made yet another donation of Easyline and GO Mobile top up cards to the Malta Hospice. The cards donated by GO are intended for use by patients who need to travel abroad for treatment. The dual scope of making phone cards available to travelling patients is to ease the financial burden and offer them the solace of keeping in touch with their families during the period of their treatment overseas.

The Malta Hospice is renowned for the exclusive holistic support that the movement’s team of dedicated members offers on a voluntary basis to terminally ill patients and their families. Hospice deals with patients as human beings tending to their physical, psychological, social and spiritual problems after assessing and implementing a care plan for each patient. GO prides itself in a long-standing bond with Malta Hospice and has on several occasions responded to the philanthropic organisation’s appeal for assistance.

During the presentation held at GO’s Head Offices in Marsa, Antoinette Shah, General Manager, Malta Hospice Movement thanked GO for its ongoing support over the years. She stressed that the organisation relied on the assistance of caring companies like GO to reach its goal of sustaining terminally ill patients offering them and their families the best possible standards of palliative care necessary to enhance their living standards.
