The Gozitan post-secondary student organisation Students’ Voice organised the first-ever edition of Fresh Start: an activity aimed to welcome first year students, introducing them to their new experience as Sixth Form students.

The event, which had a very good response from the new students, was held in collaboration with the school’s Administration and Guidance Office is the first of its kind to be organised in Gozo and aimed at providing all necessary help and information to the new students from second years who had already experienced what the Sixth Form has to offer and thus could offer first-hand assistance and support.

Students’ Voice also set up an information stand which served as a hub for the new students to get practical answers to their queries, together with several material and useful resources.A great response to first ever 'Fresh Start' held in GozoOn this occasion, the organisation published a special guide book aimed to help first years to familiarise themselves with their new school and several aspects related to their new lifestyle and experience. This book is also a first for our islands, being written, designed and published by the organisation members.

To complement this project, an official website was also launched in order to provide an array of updates and resources to students. Constantly updated, the website www.studentsvoice.org includes information ranging from job placements to application forms for grants and EU projects. The new site aims to become a centre of useful information for all students.
