The beauty of Malta’s birds has been captured in a limited edition set of four BOV Mastercard Prepaid Cards.
The new cards feature a Maltese bird for each denomination. The €50 BOV Mastercard features the Robin (pitirross) and the €75 card features the Hoopoe (daqquqa tat-toppu). The Short Eared Owl (Kokka tax-xaghri) features on the €100 card with the highest denominated card, €150, featuring the Blue Rock Trush (il-Merill).
“Bank of Valletta is proud to be a Maltese bank and this is the first themed set of Mastercard Prepaid Cards that features a part of Malta’s cultural heritage,” said John Pace, Executive Head responsible for Cards Business at Bank of Valletta.
BOV MasterCard Prepaid Cards can be used to make purchases over the internet, to settle bills and to pay for goods and services worldwide. The BOV MasterCard Prepaid Cards can also be used to withdraw cash from any ATM accepting Mastercard worldwide.
Cardholders can check their card balance by inserting the BOV MasterCard Prepaid Card into any BOV ATM or through the BOV’s Customer Service Centre on 2131 2020.
