Labour Leader Dr Joseph Muscat, has said this evening that MP Dr Anglu Farrugia has resigned from his position as Deputy Leader Parliamentary Affairs, following the comments he made regarding Magistrate Audrey Demicoli.

The Labour leader requested the resignation and it was approved during an urgent meeting held this afternoon of the PL Executive.

Nominations will be accepted on Friday and Saturday, with the election to be held between Christmas and the New Year.
