The Gozo University Group has launched live streaming of its events through a link on its facebook page, for those interested in following what this organisation is doing.

The first live streamed event was the Extraordinary General Meeting which was held with the aim of giving the possibility to its members to evaluate the work done by GUG this year and to plan further for the coming months.

Sabrina Portelli chaired the EGM, where each member of the executive presented the work implemented so far and explained what is in the pipeline. President, Ryan Mercieca said that this milestone of live streaming the events of the organisation will lead to more transparency and strengthen the participation of the members and raise the interest of the General public towards the work of GUG.

He added that GUG embarked on this initiative to set an example to other organisations and entities such as the University of Malta that should use the technology to facilitate the life of the Gozitan Students.
