Xaghra Local Council meeting will be held on Thursday 24th January 2013 at 5.30pm at the Local Council’s administrative offices in 8th September Avenue.

The Council said that the agenda for the meeting will be as as follows:

1. Opening prayer;

2. Reading and approval of Council minutes of last meeting;

3. Mayor’s communications including the construction of the new civic centre, adjudication of tenders related to Measure 313 of the Leader programme, the organisation of Carnival 2013, the conference about immigration due to be held in March 2013, patching of the first part of Marsalforn Road, patching of San Gorg Preca Street, the publication of the bi-annual newsletter ‘Lehen il-Kunsill,’ approval of the Executive Secretary’s and the Assistant Principals’ performance bonus and other matters;

4. Reading of correspondence;

5. Complaints by the residents;

6. Approval of payments and

7. Date for another council meeting.

As in every Council meeting, the public is invited to attend.
