The delays into the inquiry probing the Mistra proposed development is raising suspicions about the case, Alternattiva Demokratika has said in a statement.
Inquiries into far more serious cases often took less than two days to be completed, AD said.
The proposal became the centre of a controversy during the recent election campaign since it is located on land belonging to Nationalist MP Jeffrey Pullicino Orlando.
AD said that the investigation, which has dragged on for two months, together with a report from the Malta Environment and Planning Authority, should be made known to the media soon. Only in this way can public faith be restored in the country’s institutions.
