The Bern Hersey’s Health, Beauty & Fitness Centre at Ghajnsielem has been officially inaugurated. The new centre offers high quality gym services, as well as various beauty treatments.

This Health, Beauty and Fitness Centre, which is situated within the buildings of the local football club, at the Madonna ta’ Loretu Square in Ghajnsielem, is named after the late Fr. Bernard Hersey, who back in 1936 established the football club in Ghajnsielem and was also a group leader of the Gozo Scouts.

The Minister for Gozo, Giovanna Debono, inaugurated the centre, saying that she believes that these centres have an important function in today’s life. Society in Gozo is also aware of the importance of adopting and promoting healthy lifestyles.

The Bern Hersey’s Health Beauty & Fitness Centre offers airconditioned facilities, with free use of showers and a lounge area. In order to frequent this gym, one should apply for a monthly,quarterly, six-month or yearly membership card to be able to benefit from training provided by two trainers and a qualified female instructor who is also a nutritionist.

This centre opens from 9am until 11pm, from Monday to Friday, as well as from 9am until 7pm on Saturdays. The sessions include also outdoor activities.

The Bern Hersey’s Health, Beauty & Fitness Centre is associated with the Health and Fitness Centre of Ta’ Qali.
