Chevalier Lionel Coates recently presented a cheque for €500 to the Missionary Knights Malta Foundation on behalf of the Council and members of the Grand Commandery of the Castello, based at the world headquarters of the Military & Hospitaller Order of St Lazarus of Jerusalem situated in Mensija, San Gwann.

The cheque, presented to Gozitan Missionary Priest, Fr. Anthony Zammit, will provide white school shirts for the poorest children in his mission in Santa Rosa, Peru.

“These shirts will give the children a sense of dignity as they attend their school, thereby reinforcing the value of their education,” Fr Anthony said.
