The Electoral Commission has said that, owing to work in connection with General and Local elections, the identity cards offices in Victoria and Valletta, will be closed from Monday 4th to Tuesday 12th March, 2013.

Exceptions will be made from 4th to 8th March for those who solemnly swear or declare that they have lost their I.D. Card and for those who intend to use their I.D. Card as a travel document.

The offices will re-open on Wednesday 13th March, 2013. However, on Saturday, 16th March, 2013, the offices will also be closed due to the counting of votes of Local Councils’ elections.
