The Grand Lottery’s jackpot of €1,000,000 is up for grabs with the draw taking place on Friday, the 8th of March.

Maltco said that only three hundred thousand (300,000) tickets are available, making the Grand Lottery’s highest prize the one with the highest chances to be won compared to the other games in Malta and Gozo.

Another 6,870 winning numbers offer prizes of up to €20,000, which may be increased by 50% if the Grand Lottery highest prize is not won since the amount of €300,000 will be distributed proportionately to all the other wining categories increasing the winning amounts accordingly.

For every draw the number of the expected winners is of 6870. The jackpot for the first category is of a minimum of One Million Euro.

Grand Lottery is a game of chance where you purchase a ticket with 10 numbers each consisting of 7 digits. The left two (2) digits indicating the series and the right five (5) digits indicating the number for each series (e.g. 03-12345).

Initially Grand Lottery will be offered in thirty (30) series of one hundred thousand (100,000) numbers each, i.e. a total pool of three million (3,000,000) numbers to be printed in three hundred thousands (300,000) ticket

The draw will be televised live on TVM at 21.10 hrs on Friday, the 8th of March 2013 during the programme Xarabank.

Tickets are available for sale from Maltco lottery’s outlets and autorised points of sales including stationeries, bars and newsagents up to 20.10 hrs, one hour before the draw.
