For the third consecutive year, the Puttinu Cares Gozo Committee is organising the annual fishing competition in aid of Puttinu Cares with the aim of raising more funds to help those with cancer.

The fishing competition is to be held on Sunday, the 24th of March from 7.00am onwards at the Laboratory Wharf at Corradino.

This event will conclude with the presentation of awards to winners of several competing categories.

The Puttinu Cares Gozo Committee would like to thank all sponsors, including the Valletta Cruise Port, Anglers Centre, Mister Fish, Roots, Buon Pesca, Fishing Frenzy, Pirotta Fishing Centre, Solar Engineering Limited, Valletta Waterfront, Fishing Fever, Copyserv Ltd and Reel8 Productions Ltd.

Currently, Puttinu Cares Foundation is raising funds to pay in full the new apartments in Sutton, which are in their final stage. These apartments will accommodate 12 families and cost 3.4 million euro. During last year’s marathon nearly 1 million euro was raised.
