A Health Awareness Day is being hosted by the Arkadia Commercial Centre in Victoria, Gozo and is being organsed by the Health Awareness Committee within the Gozo General Hospital.

The general public will have the opportunity to get hands-on testing and advice from the professional staff of the Gozo General Hospital who will be offering various services, including BMI recording, blood pressure reading, blood glucose testing and intracular pressure reading. A physiotherapist will be on site to provide back screening and advice on posture control. There will also be a chance to join in with pysical traning lessons that will be held on the same day.A blood donation drive is also being organised for the same time by the Blood Donation Unit between 8.30am and 1.00pm.

Those attending are also urged to contribute in the ever important blood donation campaign, prospective donors must present their identity cards.

This Health Awareness Day will be taking place on Tuesday, the 19th of March, which is a Public Holiday and starts at 9am.

Everyone is invited and encouraged to attend.
