The Minister for Gozo, Anton Refalo paid his first official visit to the Gozo Channel offices
The company now comes under the remit of the Ministry for Gozo this company falls under the Gozo Ministry, having previously been under the aegis of the either theTransport or Finance Ministry.
Dr Refalo, who was on his first visit to Gozo Channel since his appointment as Minister, also announced the new Chairman and Board members for Gozo Channel.
Joe Cordina is named as Chairman and the other Board members are: Dr Christian Zammit Deputy Chairperson, Dr Renata Formosa (Secretary) Dr Kevin Mompalao (member), Charles Muscat (member), Michael Attard (member), Josianne Cutajar (member), George Said (member), Victor Borg (member), Liliana Curmi (member).
The Minister concluded his visit by wishing the new Chairman and Board of Directors well in their work for the company, saying that he hoped to see a future economic improvement in the company’s operations.
