‘Lejlet Lapsi Notte Gozitana 2013’ got underway on Friday evening around the streets of Victoria, when Gozo’s history came alive with ‘Lejn il-Milja taz-Zmien.’ These historical parades in period costumes depicted highlights from the Roman, Arab, Norman, Knights of St.John, French, British and local rule, that all dominated this small island at some time.
The parades left from St.Francis Square and Republic street, through the small streets and alleys, making their was to Independence Square.
In the square there was an animated tableaux together with a running commentary and visual projections.
