Heritage Malta is inviting the public to go along to the Malta Maritme Museum on Sunday and experience ‘Life at Sea’ with live sword fighting and the firing of muskets, hand cannons and other artillery to shiver ye timbers! Admission on Sunday will be free of charge.

Each visitor will be able to experience life at sea in Malta in the 15th, 18th and 19th Century. Visitors to the museum will get the chance to handle replica weapons, experience the live firing of muskets, hand cannons and artillery pieces.

And for the first time at the Malta Maritime Museums live sword fighting will take place. As always, the authentic 18th century kitchen will be open for guests to get a chance to taste food aboard in the golden age of sail.

At the Malta Maritime Museum from 9.00am to 5.00pm (last entry: 4.30pm).
