This summer there will be a record number of eight beaches in Malta and Gozo flying the blue flag, Golden Bay was awarded the of Beach of Quality title.
The beach in Gozo is Ramla l-Hamra, which is mananged by the Gaia Foundation, the remaining seven are all in Malta: St George’s Bay, the Bugibba perched beach, Mellieha Bay, Qawra Point, Fond Ghadir, the beach at Ghajn Tuffieha, also managed by the Gaia Foundation and the private beach of the Paradise Bay Hotel.
The annoucement was made by the Tourism Minister Karmenu Vella, who said that it is the first occasion that a private beach has been awarded the blue flag status.
Make the most of the Blue Flag Status while you can!
Once the money-making-body-disposal-facility up the hill is in operation, Ramla will no longer qualify for such a status.
How short-sighted of the church and MEPA!
The new Nadur cemetery has always been a big headache for the Gozo church and the Nadur farmers, We hope that this grave mistake will be reached in time and stop this catastrophic project before more damage is done

The Gozo based Emergency Rescue and Response Corps! will again be on Lifeguard Duty there this summer, making Ramla not only a beautiful place for all the family to enjoy, but a safer one as well

Lets hope that your comment is full of good health and pleased every one , but as soon as corpses accommodate the graveyard and liquid start running with water of the aquifer then all of us will say BY BY to Ramla Bay , no more Blue Flag nor sun bayderes as this dead small water go down crossing the bay
