‘Europe for Gozo,’ organised by the European Parliament Office in Malta, is taking place this coming Friday and will be an opportunity to meet your MEPs and discuss the representation of Gozo at EU level.

MEPs Claudette Abela Baldacchino, John Attard-Montalto, Joseph Cuschieri and Roberta Metsola are expedted to be in attendance and they will be there to listen to the concerns and the specific requirements of Gozo as an Island Region, for those such as the Gozitan Youths, the Gozitan Businesses, the NGOs and the citizens in general.

The discussion will then be followed by sectorial workshops. Themes in these workshops as well as in the public dialogue, will be Gozo’s double insularity and the conditioning that this brings to the exploitation of the Union’s Internal Market, tourism and EU Funding.

The event will conclude with a reception and an art exhibition.

The proceedings may be held in English and Maltese if required.

The event will take place on Friday, the 31st of May, at the Grand Hotel, Mgarr, starting at 3.00pm.
