Update: Gozo SPCA are appealing for urgent help in tracing the owner of this Alaskan Malamute which has been wandering around the village of Ghajnsielem for the past few days.
The dog has now been picked up by the Gozo SPCA and is at the Centre in Victoria. He is micro chipped and about 5 years of age.
Wolfie is now available for rehoming and the Gozo SPCA said that he is a very friendly dog.
Anybody who thinks that they can help with a home for this lovely dog please email on info@spca-gozo.org.

We just had a case last month here in N. Ireland where a greyhound was found at the side of a road with its ears cut off. They think the ears were removed to get rid of tattoos that could have identified the owner. Very sad news. Wolfie was diagnosed with a twisted gut yesterday morning. He was rushed for emergency surgery, but passed away during the night.
