ERRC Basic First Aid Course being held this month in Gozo

The ‘Emergency Response and Rescue Corps’ is a non-profit, of Gozo is a voluntary organisation operating mainly within the Maltese Islands.
The Corps specialises in a wide array of rescue approaches both on land and sea. The motto of the ERRC is “Striving for the safety of others.”
The ERRC will be conducting a ‘Basic First Aid Course’ which will take place at the NGO Centre in Xewikja from Monday, the 19th of August, until Thursday, the 22nd of August, between 4.00pm and 8.00pm.
The course is intended for lay persons, family members and the public at large who want to learn first aid skills.
Course Content:
Module 1: General Pronciples
Module 2: Patient Assessment
Module 3: Unconsciousness
Module 4: Respiratory and cardiac emergencies
Module 5: Bleeding and wounds
Module 6: Shock
Module 7: Burns
Module 8: Musco skeletal injuries
Module 9: Environmental emergencies
Module 10: First aid kits
Course duration: 16 hours
Certificate valid for 3 years
Assessment practical and written examination
