The Police have reported this evening that “a large number of allegedly protected birds have been found in a residence in Xaghra.
“Stuffed birds and small number of carcasses were seized by the authorities after the Gozo Police were alerted by an anonymous caller.”
The Police said that a person is being held for further investigations.

This is disgusting. No doubt the FKNK will be stating that this has nothing to do with hunters and all the birds died of natural causes!
