The Malta Union of Teachers (MUT) has said that it today met MCAST management in relation to the industrial dispute announced last Monday in relation to the Student Services agreement which until now remains unresolved.

During the meeting the MUT said it was presented with a document which has three main problematic principles. “These are the progression system between grades, Student Services staff access to the Work Resources Fund and salary progression in the long run for these professionals.”

The MUT said that it will be discussing it with it’s members and will be announcing industrial directives as required.
