The University of Malta’s Department of Biology, Faculty of Science, is holding a short course entitled ‘An Introduction to Marine Biology.’ This course includes topics such as: General characteristics of the marine environment and Mediterranean Sea, Shore and underwater habitats, Marine pollution, Fish, cetaceans and turtles, Aquaculture and fisheries, and Marine conservation.

The course will be held between 16th of October and the 11th of December 2013. Lectures will be held between18:00 and 20:00 while practical sessions will be held on Saturdays between 09:00 and 13:00 hours.
