Ryanair launches 1000,000 seat sale with prices starting from €14.99

Ryanair has today celebrated Malta’s record August 200,000 passenger figures. The airline said “that from January to August 2013, over 1.1 million tourists visited Malta, an increase of 9%, while Ryanair carried over 750,000 passengers to Malta, an increase of over 17% compared to the same period in 2012.”
Ryanair added “that it continues to invest in Malta and recently released its biggest ever winter schedule, with 20 destinations, including 3 new routes to Krakow, Liverpool and Milan”.
Ryanair celebrated the news by releasing 100,000 seats across its European network, with prices starting from €14.99, for travel in November and December, which are available for booking on www.ryanair.com until midnight Thursday, the 10th of October, 2013.
Ryanair’s Luis Fernández-Mellado said, “in just over 7 years, Ryanair has carried over 4 million passengers to/from Malta, with visitors saving over €320m p.a. by switching to Ryanair’s low fares. This year we expect to carry over a million passengers, underlining Ryanair’s commitment to, and investment in, Malta.”
“Our Malta winter schedule features 20 routes to exciting destinations, including 3 new routes to Krakow, Liverpool and Milan, ensuring tourists can enjoy Malta thanks to Ryanair’s ultra-low fares and no fuel surcharges,” he concluded.
